I love to take pictures of the sunrise when I can and share them. I’ve got a bunch but this one stood out to me this morning. Looking at the vastness of the sky, the clouds and the emerging sun gave me the sense that anything is possible. Anything.
What restricts me is my thinking. I imagine large and my mind shrinks it down. I imagine depth and my mind tries to make it more shallow. Ego can lock us in and make us small if we aren’t aware. Ego is fear. Fear is love’s reflection and both are equally beautiful.
This image of Nature, of the birthing of potential, happens without thought. Thought does not guide the sun from horizon to horizon, rather it travels through the day effortlessly, being what it is.
What if the path of its life-giving light were thwarted by questioning that path, of second-guessing whether it was the right one or maybe it should take another route to the West. I would venture to guess the other natural processes of the Earth would also be thwarted.
When we choose to ignore our heart-brain, that intuitive energetic nudge to go this way or that, we ignore Nature. The mind is not the center of us, it is a secondary organ. The heart is the first receiver of information and knows what to do with it. The rest of the body assists. When our first impulse is ignored, often it was the one we later say we “should” have gone with. Those moments of recognition are lessons learned so the next time we have an impulse, we can go with it.
There is no right or wrong here, as every choice is perfect and leads to the next and the next. What helps steer us is opening up and creating the energetic space of allowing for Love of self (first) and others to be the guiding force in our decisions.
Much Love! xox
