Matters Of Life And Death

It occurred to me today how much we have to learn from Nature.

In Nature, there is no striving to “be” or “do” anything.  All living things act out of their “true nature” and just do whatever it is they need to do.  If a beaver needs to build a house, it builds a house.  It doesn’t moan and groan about how it has to gather wood, swim back and forth a million times to get the wood, and put the wood where it needs to go.  It just does it.  It is programmed to do it.

Nature arises out of its self.  A tree was first a seed, with the potential to become a tree.  Under the right conditions, it grew into what it was preprogrammed to become.  All the information it needed to realize its potential was already contained within it.  Now, did that tree have advanced knowledge of what it was to become when it was only a little seed?  No one can speak for the tree, but intelligence is already implied, and with all intelligence comes an element of awareness.

We can consider human nature in the same way.
