    • Jack and Jill

Posted at 6:02 PM by Krista Gorman, PA-C, on March 19, 2014

      Remember the old nursery rhyme?

“Jack and Jill went up the hill to fetch a pail of water.  Jack fell down and broke his crown, and Jill came tumbling after.”

I always felt bad for Jack, and wondered why Jill didn’t learn from his mistake. We never heard whether or not Jack and Jill gave it another try….

Here’s to broken crowns, learning from our mistakes and the beautiful lightness of being!

    • On Being Joyful

Posted at 9:00 AM by Krista Gorman, PA-C, on March 17, 2014

Joy used to sound like such an over-the-top kind of word that rarely described anyone, except maybe kids around the Holidays, or when you find the last pair of jeans in your size that are exactly what you were looking for and don’t cost a fortune, in fact there’s a sale on them, etc.

      I understand joy differently now.

During my NDE, I experienced the joy that we are at our core being.  That was joy. Blissful, unadulterated, unfiltered joy.

In my life since my experience, joy has mostly been an elusive thing for me.  Over the years I’ve come to really understand it, and how I can experience it in my daily life.  It’s not been about the acquisition of things, or promotions or more money.  It’s about connection, and compassion.  It’s about acceptance, and most of all, Love in all its forms.

I wish you true Joy today  🙂

      xoxo

    • Death and After Life

Posted at 2:29 AM by Krista Gorman, PA-C, on February 26, 2014

These words confuse me a little.

We call no longer living death.  We call death the after life.  But, what is death, really?

In my experience, death is the transition from the physical form in this 3-D world to a less dense existence in the “spiritual” realm.  We are still “alive” though, just in a different space with a different awareness.

      It’s all about awareness.

What I learned in my “afterlife” was we get to choose our awarenesses, everywhere, all the time. Whether in physical form or spiritual form, we choose.  Based on our choices, we create and co-create our experiences.

Death is not the end, it is a transition.  It is a transition of consciousness from one awareness to another.  It’s a shift from here, to there.   A movement from life to life.

This picture was taken in the Bahamas a few years ago.  I loved the tangled beauty of the branches that seemed to reach out to the sky like fingers ready to grasp the unknown.

    • From Louise Hay…

Posted at 9:09 AM by Krista Gorman, PA-C, on February 13, 2014

      From Louise Hay…

“…Another false assumption is that you must be an artist to be creative. That’s just one form of creativity, and there are so many more. You’re creating every moment of your life—from the most common, ordinary creation of new cells in your body, to your emotional responses, to your present job, to your bank account, to your relationships with friends, and to your very attitudes about yourself. It’s all creativity.”

      ~ Louise Hay

In my NDE, I learned we are all the conscious creators and co-creators of our earthly lives and of our death experience.  We are both the individual with free will and the power to exercise it, as well as the individual working in conjunction with the Divine Creator.  All of it, no matter what, is created for the greater good, whether immediately experienced or experienced at some point in the future.

Love to all of you today!!!

    • I Love Blunders

Posted at 10:29 PM by Krista Gorman, PA-C, on January 29, 2014

“… [B]lunders are not the merest chance. They are the results of suppressed desires and conflicts. They are ripples on the surface of life, produced by unsuspected springs. And these may be very deep—as deep as the soul itself. The blunder may amount to the opening of a destiny.”

Joseph Campbell, The Hero with a Thousand Faces

So, we need to go easy on ourselves when we make a “mistake”.  After all, is it, really?

This is a quote from Esther Hicks who channels “Abraham”.  She speaks mainly about the Law of Attraction, and has many helpful ways of expressing how we are the creators and co-creators of our lives.  This was my experience in the afterlife, as well.  I had free-will to choose my path.  We all do.  Money is an important piece of this, and allowing ourselves to align ourselves with the receiving of and giving of money is an important part of our spiritual evolution here.  We all deserve abundance.  There is enough money to go around.  To use money for the highest good, with love, along our path carries with it a high vibration, which puts ourselves in alignment with our creator.  We also have the choice to use or perceive money in ways that carry a lower vibration, thus lessening the potential for alignment with our source of life, and thus our receiving it.   Our life’s purpose is to reestablish the vibrational/energetic frequency of what we were born out of, which is unbounded divine love.  This unboundedness, this expansion,  is what our spirit wants to achieve in this life.  Money can aid in this process.

“You are right when you think, Money isn’t everything. You certainly do not need money to have joy in your experience. But in your society—where so much of what you live is tied to money in some way—most of you associate money with freedom. And since freedom is a basic tenet of your being, then coming into alignment with money will help you establish a balanced footing that will be of value to you in all other aspects of your experience.”

       —Abraham

    • Lesson One: Live In Awareness

Posted at 12:37 PM by Krista Gorman, PA-C, on January 17, 2014

I have a sister blog called Lessons In Love:  Twelve Principles For Daily Living and wanted to share a bit here….please visit LIL to read more….xoxo

What does it mean to be Aware

It means to have the knowledge that you and everything contained in all there is are one.  There is no separation between you, me, nature, the stars, and so on.  All of it is the collective “We”.

We are, I am, the Alpha and the Omega.

With this awareness, there is no separation from anyone or anything.  When the “I” becomes “We”, our entire world takes on new meaning.  There is a shift in perception that re-creates the bond with the infinite divine that was fully present in our awareness before birth, and is challenged in the face of the duality of this world, only to be fully present once again through re-experiencing our true nature.  We may have this experience here, in our body, if we choose to.  In our physical and nonphysical form we have, and always have, free will.

My experience in both near death and this life on earth is that we are seamless forms of consciousness, only here we are not always aware this is so.

How do we cultivate awareness?  First, by acknowledging the possibility that what we see isn’t all there is.  What we experience in physical form is only one part of the story, and no matter which part we experience, it is just as important as another.  There are no exceptions, but, we always have free will to choose what kind of experience we have.  We have the ability to change our reality at any moment in time.

“If you don’t start somewhere, you’re going to get nowhere.” ~ Bob Marley

For many of us, the idea of pursuing our dream is one we relish in for a while, then dismiss as implausible.  “I could never do (fill in the blank).”  Somewhere I heard that if we make the choice to set out on a journey toward what we wish for, and it doesn’t come to fruition, we haven’t lost anything because we didn’t have it to begin with.  Nothing lost, nothing gained.

On the path to freedom, we can choose to see open doors or closed ones, but every door has the potential to lead us further along our path.  We can always change our vibration/what we attract into our lives.  In other words, we can always change our minds.
