    • Flippin’ Fear

Posted at 4:18 PM by Krista Gorman, PA-C, on December 30, 2014

When we take what it is we fear, flip it around and look at it in a beneficial way, we create a whole new life for ourselves.

Happy New Year!  Happy Old Fear!!

    • Joy vs. Suffering

Posted at 9:55 AM by Krista Gorman, PA-C, on September 5, 2014

      Life is unpredictable.

I used to be so uncomfortable with that saying.  I needed a schedule that didn’t change.  I had to function within certain parameters where, if they were breached with an unexpected “whatever”, I would be sent spinning.

What I never realized was how afraid I was.  I carried a fear of living around with me all the time, yet was completely unaware of the extent to which it affected my life.  I figured it was something that was a part of life.  Most of us are afraid.  That’s just how it is.  That’s why we get life insurance.  That’s why we save for retirement.  That’s why we go to the doctor and take the pills we take.

We’re afraid of living. We’re afraid of dying.

But, why?  Why do we see this life as something to be feared? Why do we see death as something to be feared?

Why do we approach life, the most natural thing in the world, as if it is something to be endured, suffered through and ultimately end through this horrible thing called death?

      I didn’t get it.

      Then, I died.

      Then, I got it.

We come here with the experience of who we are in our most fundamental state of being, which is pure, conscious love, and with that, all the joy that comes with it.

When we come into the body, we have the experience of the suffering that occurs when we are separated from the source of who we really are. We’re in the body so we may once again endeavor to experience the joy of who we are. When we do so, we are able to understand the difference between suffering and joy, and when we live to experience only joy, we cease to suffer. We’ve returned.

      Love to you 🙂

    • French Toast

Posted at 8:12 PM by Krista Gorman, PA-C, on July 1, 2014

There are days where I feel all up in the air and discombobulated to the point of complete annoyance.  I can meditate, remind, and reawaken myself to all the things I could do to create a stronger sense of peace and contentment with my “now”.

      Today, I made french toast.

      It was delicious.

    • The Law of Attraction Works!

Posted at 9:24 PM by Krista Gorman, PA-C, on June 17, 2014

I can speak to this point for days and give countless examples about how it’s helped me to manifest my own desires, but what I’d like to do is share a story about a friend who had the experience of the LOA working in her life.

Katie is in LA temporarily with her daughters who have a lot of activities in and around the city.  She’s driving them here and there constantly, and finds herself stuck in traffic all the time.

Just before she left we had a discussion about the LOA and how it can help improve one’s life.  She said she’d give it a try, and I heard from her today that it’s worked several times already!  She manifested a smooth, traffic-free trip twice, and both times there was little traffic when normally there would be quite a bit.

This is a small example of the power of our intentions and the will of the Universe to work with us along our life’s journey 🙂

      Love this stuff!!  xoxo

    • I AM BEYOND EXCITED!!!

Posted at 12:36 PM by Krista Gorman, PA-C, on May 19, 2014

So a few days ago, I’m in the car, driving to somewhere, when I get an email.  I checked my phone, and see it’s from the International Association of Near Death Studies organization.  They were looking for speakers/presenters, etc for their upcoming conference in August, and I sent in a proposal to share my experience and talk about my forthcoming book, Lessons In Love:  Twelve Principles For Daily Living.

I get butterflies.  I’m terrified.  I’m thrilled.  I began to read through the email, and quickly got to the part where it starts…”We are pleased to…”  Then I shriek!  OMG!!  What a privilege and an honor it is to be chosen to share my experience with so many wonderful people!

Eben Alexander, the Neurosurgeon who wrote Proof of Heaven and Mary Neal, the Orthopedic surgeon who wrote To Heaven and Back are a few of the main speakers.  As a Physician Assistant, I was drawn to their personal perspectives on the subject of NDEs and how it changed them.  In fact, they are a big part of the reason I began to speak about my own experience after all these years.  Fear was not going to hold me back any longer.

For any of you who care to, let me know what questions you have about the afterlife, and I will try to answer them.  I’m so beyond excited to share!

    • The Journey

Posted at 8:38 AM by Krista Gorman, PA-C, on May 7, 2014

Experience is gained along our journey, which gives us wisdom.  Conscious living through awareness, along with experience and wisdom, help to re-create our true selves here, in the body.  To what degree this happens is based on the degree of our ability to know and share love.

      Love to you all!!

    • On Being Joyful

Posted at 9:00 AM by Krista Gorman, PA-C, on March 17, 2014

Joy used to sound like such an over-the-top kind of word that rarely described anyone, except maybe kids around the Holidays, or when you find the last pair of jeans in your size that are exactly what you were looking for and don’t cost a fortune, in fact there’s a sale on them, etc.

      I understand joy differently now.

During my NDE, I experienced the joy that we are at our core being.  That was joy. Blissful, unadulterated, unfiltered joy.

In my life since my experience, joy has mostly been an elusive thing for me.  Over the years I’ve come to really understand it, and how I can experience it in my daily life.  It’s not been about the acquisition of things, or promotions or more money.  It’s about connection, and compassion.  It’s about acceptance, and most of all, Love in all its forms.

I wish you true Joy today  🙂

      xoxo

    • Reflections

Posted at 2:16 PM by Krista Gorman, PA-C, on December 31, 2013

Being that it’s New Year’s Eve, I, like so many, find myself looking back at this time last year and being really amazed at the huge transformations that have happened not only in my life, but in the lives of my family.

For me, it’s been a journey of opening up and being vulnerable.  I am allowing myself to “become” and show others my authentic self.  My NDE reminded me of who that is, and of the spiritual commitment I made during my journey into the afterlife, which was to share the love I am with the world.  This happens in myriad ways, and at present my ADD mind is trying to organize my efforts in many  directions (M-A-N-Y). Lol.

What happens in the coming year depends on me.  I create my life from my intentions, and so far, they’ve always delivered.  Maybe not in the exact way I wanted them to, but always for the higher good of everyone involved.  When something doesn’t “go my way” it’s for a pretty darn good reason, and just means there is something better coming down the pike than I could have imagined .  When these good things happen, it’s not just me that benefits, and that’s what life is all about.

      Happy New Year!

      Love to you all :]
