    • How Death Is So Much Like Life

Posted at 7:05 AM by Krista Gorman, PA-C, on August 29, 2019

Our lives are not completely our own.  We cannot control everything that happens, but we can use our free will and intention to focus the energy that is there at our disposal to bring about what it is we desire, with one caveat:  If it is for the greater good for us and everyone involved and, in the ultimate sense, it always is .

We come here to remember who we are, which is pure love.  We come here to share  love in the world in our own unique way.  Everyone is here to do the same thing and there is no one who is more worthy than another.  There is no one who is better than another or whose desires and dreams are more important.  We are all on the same playing field all the time.

Death is a continuation of life.  In what we call death our consciousness continues to have the same power to manifest what it is we desire, only we are more acutely aware of our connection to the divine loving source that supports us at all times.  We return to this source and are once again reminded of the intensely loving beings we are.

Within that intensely loving power are all the possibilities of the universe completely at our disposal here.  We continue to use our intention and free will to create our experience in death as we do in life.  The difference is in our awareness of that power and, when we die, we’re reminded of it.  We re-experience it to its greatest degree.  We return to a realm where there literally is no resistance.  We are immersed and get to play in the miraculous cosmic soup of love energy that we get only a small taste of here in the body.

We create our experience in the afterlife along with the co-creative power of the universe, that is love wholly and completely.  While we’re here, it is to our greatest benefit to re-dis-cover the loving beings we are and endeavor to fulfill our purpose.  By doing so, we are constantly bringing ourselves closer and closer to perfect alignment with the source of us all and have an opportunity to experience it here, in the body.

To do so is a choice.  We always have free-will, here and in the afterlife.  We’re here.  We can choose our life.

My question for you is this:  Are you creating the life you desire?

As always, I’d love to hear your stories!

Much love to you along your beautiful, creative journey!

    • Loving Ourselves

Posted at 12:12 PM by Krista Gorman, PA-C, on December 10, 2014

I have some experience with the challenges around this topic.  My inclination had always been to put others’ needs first before mine, to minimize my needs so as to accommodate others.  While that is absolutely necessary in life, a balance needs to be created between dispensing our energy and energizing ourselves.

We need to get in order to give.

How do we replenish ourselves of the energy we give away?  Through loving ourselves.  That’s it.  The love we give away must be equal to the love we show ourselves.  Otherwise, we end up depleted and defeated.  The challenge here is that often we hold the belief we don’t deserve it.  For some reason, we don’t feel as worthy of receiving as those who receive.

As we live our lives, we often lose touch with the loving, divine beings we are.  We are made up of pure love.  The energy that fuels us is love energy.  That love energy is what makes up the universe.  That universal energy is flowing through us and is everywhere, all the time. It’s an unbroken cycle.  If we lack the love for ourselves that we endeavor to give away, we disconnect from that universal love. We temporarily break and disconnect from our source.  Without source energy flowing through us, we deplete our own.  We cannot give what we don’t have.  So if we truly want to share with and serve others with our love, we must connect and replenish with the love of the universe.

Make sense?  Let me know your thoughts!

      Love To You!!
