    • We Are Supported

Posted at 7:09 AM by Krista Gorman, PA-C, on January 8, 2015

Just by being here, we are supported.  We can never, ever be alone.  There are energies all around us, all the time ready to lift us up when we call upon them.  Some refer to these energies as angels.  I love the word, but choose ‘benevolent spirits’ to describe them myself.  They are spirits I met during my near death experience 14 years ago and as a child before that.  They love us in a way nothing else can here on earth.  It is an ego-less love, as they need nothing in return.

If you feel alone, unsupported by those around you think about asking for help from those you can’t see 😉 then pay attention to what your intuition tells you to do.  Wait and see what happens…

    • French Toast

Posted at 8:12 PM by Krista Gorman, PA-C, on July 1, 2014

There are days where I feel all up in the air and discombobulated to the point of complete annoyance.  I can meditate, remind, and reawaken myself to all the things I could do to create a stronger sense of peace and contentment with my “now”.

      Today, I made french toast.

      It was delicious.

    • On Being Joyful

Posted at 9:00 AM by Krista Gorman, PA-C, on March 17, 2014

Joy used to sound like such an over-the-top kind of word that rarely described anyone, except maybe kids around the Holidays, or when you find the last pair of jeans in your size that are exactly what you were looking for and don’t cost a fortune, in fact there’s a sale on them, etc.

      I understand joy differently now.

During my NDE, I experienced the joy that we are at our core being.  That was joy. Blissful, unadulterated, unfiltered joy.

In my life since my experience, joy has mostly been an elusive thing for me.  Over the years I’ve come to really understand it, and how I can experience it in my daily life.  It’s not been about the acquisition of things, or promotions or more money.  It’s about connection, and compassion.  It’s about acceptance, and most of all, Love in all its forms.

I wish you true Joy today  🙂

      xoxo

    • My Yellow Angel

Posted at 9:57 AM by Krista Gorman, PA-C, on February 11, 2014

Today, I was asked to assign the name of someone I knew to various colors.  It was an exercise meant to stimulate conversation.  The first color was Yellow.  Immediately, I thought of my daughter.  I thought of her, not just because her hair is a beautiful shade of blonde, but because she really is a ray of sunshine 🙂

When she came into the world, it was chaos.  She was born with barely a heartbeat, and I had none at all.

After having tubes and needles stuck into her and being placed in a plastic bassinet where oxygen could be blown in to keep her saturation up, she was taken away from everyone who loved her to another hospital where her medical emergency could be better treated.  It would be six days before I was well enough to hold her sweet little body in my arms, and the moment I did, I felt I’d known her forever.

As she grew, her happy disposition inspired me on a daily basis to be more like her.  I was constantly reminded of how easy it can be to approach life in a way that involves as much laughter as possible, and to seek out opportunities to do just that.  Then, in middle school, everything changed.  Family problems overshadowed her bright light, dimming it for a while.  During that time, it was my turn to shine for her, and when the dark clouds finally disappeared, we shone together 🙂

My daughter is my inspiration, my angel, my yellow.

    • $$ Money $$

Posted at 11:40 AM by Krista Gorman, PA-C, on January 19, 2014

This is a quote from Esther Hicks who channels “Abraham”.  She speaks mainly about the Law of Attraction, and has many helpful ways of expressing how we are the creators and co-creators of our lives.  This was my experience in the afterlife, as well.  I had free-will to choose my path.  We all do.  Money is an important piece of this, and allowing ourselves to align ourselves with the receiving of and giving of money is an important part of our spiritual evolution here.  We all deserve abundance.  There is enough money to go around.  To use money for the highest good, with love, along our path carries with it a high vibration, which puts ourselves in alignment with our creator.  We also have the choice to use or perceive money in ways that carry a lower vibration, thus lessening the potential for alignment with our source of life, and thus our receiving it.   Our life’s purpose is to reestablish the vibrational/energetic frequency of what we were born out of, which is unbounded divine love.  This unboundedness, this expansion,  is what our spirit wants to achieve in this life.  Money can aid in this process.

“You are right when you think, Money isn’t everything. You certainly do not need money to have joy in your experience. But in your society—where so much of what you live is tied to money in some way—most of you associate money with freedom. And since freedom is a basic tenet of your being, then coming into alignment with money will help you establish a balanced footing that will be of value to you in all other aspects of your experience.”

       —Abraham

    • Lesson One: Live In Awareness

Posted at 12:37 PM by Krista Gorman, PA-C, on January 17, 2014

I have a sister blog called Lessons In Love:  Twelve Principles For Daily Living and wanted to share a bit here….please visit LIL to read more….xoxo

What does it mean to be Aware

It means to have the knowledge that you and everything contained in all there is are one.  There is no separation between you, me, nature, the stars, and so on.  All of it is the collective “We”.

We are, I am, the Alpha and the Omega.

With this awareness, there is no separation from anyone or anything.  When the “I” becomes “We”, our entire world takes on new meaning.  There is a shift in perception that re-creates the bond with the infinite divine that was fully present in our awareness before birth, and is challenged in the face of the duality of this world, only to be fully present once again through re-experiencing our true nature.  We may have this experience here, in our body, if we choose to.  In our physical and nonphysical form we have, and always have, free will.

My experience in both near death and this life on earth is that we are seamless forms of consciousness, only here we are not always aware this is so.

How do we cultivate awareness?  First, by acknowledging the possibility that what we see isn’t all there is.  What we experience in physical form is only one part of the story, and no matter which part we experience, it is just as important as another.  There are no exceptions, but, we always have free will to choose what kind of experience we have.  We have the ability to change our reality at any moment in time.
