    • Fear Focus?

Posted at 2:45 PM by Krista Gorman, PA-C, on March 20, 2020

Let’s talk about this.  If you had to give a percentage of head space dedicated to fearful thoughts in any 24 hour period, how much would it be?

For anyone who understands the power of our thoughts, well then they are that much more aware of how important it is to monitor them.  For anyone who doesn’t understand the power our thoughts have, I would suggest reading/listening to anything to do with Law Of Attraction.  Books on this subject date back thousands of years.  It’s concepts are in the Bible, the Bhagavad Gita and so many written works that came afterward.  One really interesting read is a book by Prentice Mulford titled ‘Thoughts Are Things’.  Written in the latter part of the 19th century, Prentice was a progressive thinker for that time period.  The words and phrases and examples he uses are interesting and it’s a really great example of how powerful we are as humans.

During this time of such uncertainty, those predisposed to fearful thinking may be more so and it can become VERY difficult to function in daily life.  Perhaps keeping the following concepts in the forefront of our thoughts may help ease the worry around the “not knowing” and help us to stay longer in periods of trust in the processes of life and peaceful existence.  When our (ego) thoughts want to go to ones of fear, remember the following:

      1. The idea that I have control over anything but my own thoughts and how I feel is an illusion.
      2. If I want to make a difference in the outcome of an undesirable happening, I must focus on love in all its aspects.
      3. Fear creates dis-ease, Love heals.
      4. All is always well.

Write these down and put them in your pocket.  Take them out and read them when you feel off balance or find your thinking is out of control.  Let go.

Sending out so much Love to you! xox

    • Why Wait?

Posted at 10:47 PM by Krista Gorman, PA-C, on December 14, 2019

I love creating my life.  I love imagining what it is I’d most like to do with my days, of the experiences I’ll have and people I’ll connect with.  I love putting myself there and feeling the excitement of being in places where there are many others just like me, all sharing and growing and enjoying.

There’s one part of this process, though, that I am only now beginning to really take part in in the way I know I’ve needed to in order for all I desire to come about.  That is the experience of true ease and joy along the way.

I’ve been waiting for this state of being to come in the way it is now.

Lately, I’ve been feeling very different.  Different in the sense that, I’m still me, yet I’m a new and improved version of me.  I feel calmer, even more so than before (and I’m quite chill to begin with lol).  This calm is infused with more love, deeper love, than before and it is unconditional.

      I just feel great!

      And greatful!

      Much Love to you all!!

      xoxo

As I’ve gotten older, there’s something I’ve come to understand better.  That this life, this existence, is to be LIVED.

Not trudged through, not skimmed over.  We are meant to dive into it with every bit of ourselves and swim in its beauty and ugliness.  We’re here to experience the divine in all of it.  Every bit is as it is with the purpose of helping to mold ourselves into who we chose to be when we came here.  We are not victims of our lives, we are the creators of it.  We get to choose whatever we want to be here in these bodies.  When life starts to pile up with the demands of the outside world, remind yourself of your divinity and the reason you came here.  Create the time to focus on that, then create that.

      Much Love to you! xoxo

    • What I Did This Weekend

Posted at 12:42 PM by Krista Gorman, PA-C, on October 21, 2019

I had the privilege of spending the last four days with other beautiful souls sharing our hearts and growing and expanding in love at an NDE retreat.  It was not only for those who’d had an NDE but also for others who have had Spiritually Transformative Experiences (STE’s) and those who were seeking answers to their spiritual questions.

At at lovely hotel on the ocean, we gathered together to share our individual stories and support one another in the inevitable growth that resulted.  Our ability, as a group, to show unconditional love for one another was incredibly inspiring.  Many did not know anyone at first but by the end of the weekend everyone was embraced and known to everyone else as family.

What was the magic of all of this?  How could a group of adults bare their hearts and share their souls with one another without fear? Love.  Love was the fuel, the glue, the elixir.  We all simply had unconditional love for one another.  We were a microcosm of the world, contained in a little room in a hotel, laughing and crying and discovering new aspects of ourselves with the support of the universe embracing us all.

      Feeling so much love!! oxo

    • Intention Without Resistance

Posted at 7:11 AM by Krista Gorman, PA-C, on October 11, 2019

So, I stepped outside this morning to look at the stars while it was still dark.  I really love to start my day this way.  As I stood with my head back, appreciating their beauty, I felt “It would be nice to see a shooting star.”

As my eyes moved to the other side of the visible sky, a star shot across it. That is the power of love, appreciation and intention with no resistance.   th-10

    • My Morning

Posted at 7:16 AM by Krista Gorman, PA-C, on September 27, 2019

This is something I’m currently processing, feeling through to allow for whatever message that may be there to come forth.

I love taking a step outside early in the morning, while it’s still dark and silent.  I can see the stars in the sky, and Orion is always to my right.  It brings me comfort to stare at it and feel the energy of my body in response to it.  I do have a visceral response, which is a reflection of our deep interconnectedness with all there is, seen and unseen.

As my eyes were moving slowly across the sky toward where the sun is to rise shortly, I watched as a plane climbed silently through some light clouds and flew high above.  My gaze fell back toward the clouds, when I noticed they were not stagnant.  The sky was undulating like a wave.  It reminded me of the space I was in during my NDE where the dense particles came together in waves at times…

I looked back at the several shining lights above me.  These lights are very often there at night and do not move with the rest of the stars.  They are some sort of craft, I ‘m not sure what.  Maybe weather monitors…one of them moved closer to me, strangely as if to say “yes, you did see that.”  Lol.  It’s made my whole day even better.

      Much Love!

    • Words Of Wisdom From Charlie Chaplin

“As I began to love myself I found that anguish and emotional suffering are only warning signs that I was living against my own truth. Today, I know, this is “AUTHENTICITY”.

As I began to love myself I understood how much it can offend somebody if I try to force my desires on this person, even though I knew the time was not right and the person was not ready for it, and even though this person was me. Today I call it “RESPECT”.

As I began to love myself I stopped craving for a different life, and I could see that everything that surrounded me was inviting me to grow. Today I call it “MATURITY”.

As I began to love myself I understood that at any circumstance, I am in the right place at the right time, and everything happens at the exactly right moment. So I could be calm. Today I call it “SELF-CONFIDENCE”.

As I began to love myself I quit stealing my own time, and I stopped designing huge projects for the future. Today, I only do what brings me joy and happiness, things I love to do and that make my heart cheer, and I do them in my own way and in my own rhythm. Today I call it “SIMPLICITY”.

As I began to love myself I freed myself of anything that is no good for my health – food, people, things, situations, and everything that drew me down and away from myself. At first I called this attitude a healthy egoism. Today I know it is “LOVE OF ONESELF”.

As I began to love myself I quit trying to always be right, and ever since I was wrong less of the time. Today I discovered that is “MODESTY”.

As I began to love myself I refused to go on living in the past and worrying about the future. Now, I only live for the moment, where everything is happening. Today I live each day, day by day, and I call it “FULFILLMENT”.

As I began to love myself I recognized that my mind can disturb me and it can make me sick. But as I connected it to my heart, my mind became a valuable ally. Today I call this connection “WISDOM OF THE HEART”.

We no longer need to fear arguments, confrontations or any kind of problems with ourselves or others. Even stars collide, and out of their crashing new worlds are born. Today I know “THAT IS LIFE”!”

    • Creating Space

Posted at 7:15 AM by Krista Gorman, PA-C, on June 30, 2019

I love to take pictures of the sunrise when I can and share them.  I’ve got a bunch but this one stood out to me this morning.  Looking at the vastness of the sky, the clouds and the emerging sun gave me the sense that anything is possible.  Anything.

What restricts me is my thinking.  I imagine large and my mind shrinks it down.  I imagine depth and my mind tries to make it more shallow.  Ego can lock us in and make us small if we aren’t aware.  Ego is fear.  Fear is love’s reflection and both are equally beautiful.

This image of Nature, of the birthing of potential, happens without thought.  Thought does not guide the sun from horizon to horizon, rather it travels through the day effortlessly, being what it is.

What if the path of its life-giving light were thwarted by questioning that path, of second-guessing whether it was the right one or maybe it should take another route to the West. I would venture to guess the other natural processes of the Earth would also be thwarted.

When we choose to ignore our heart-brain, that intuitive energetic nudge to go this way or that, we ignore Nature.  The mind is not the center of us, it is a secondary organ.  The heart is the first receiver of information and knows what to do with it.  The rest of the body assists.  When our first impulse is ignored, often it was the one we later say we “should” have gone with.  Those moments of recognition are lessons learned so the next time we have an impulse, we can go with it.

There is no right or wrong here, as every choice is perfect and leads to the next and the next.  What helps steer us is opening up and creating the energetic space of allowing for Love of self (first) and others to be the guiding force in our decisions.

      Much Love! xox

    • Transitioning To Something Greater

Posted at 9:06 AM by Krista Gorman, PA-C, on June 16, 2019

As we go along in our lives, there are points where our consciousness shifts, where it transitions from one state of being to another.  We feel different.  We see and experience the world in a different way, we grow and expand in our awareness of our place in it.  These shifts are the physical evidence of our becoming who we are.  Sometimes we don’t know it’s happening and just find ourselves “there” in a new state of being.  Maybe we like it, maybe we don’t.  Regardless, it’s why we’re here and we always have the choice to go with it or against it.  For me, it feels much better to float downstream and take in the view.  xoxoDSC_0574.JPG
