I had the privilege of spending the last four days with other beautiful souls sharing our hearts and growing and expanding in love at an NDE retreat. It was not only for those who’d had an NDE but also for others who have had Spiritually Transformative Experiences (STE’s) and those who were seeking answers to their spiritual questions.
At at lovely hotel on the ocean, we gathered together to share our individual stories and support one another in the inevitable growth that resulted. Our ability, as a group, to show unconditional love for one another was incredibly inspiring. Many did not know anyone at first but by the end of the weekend everyone was embraced and known to everyone else as family.
What was the magic of all of this? How could a group of adults bare their hearts and share their souls with one another without fear? Love. Love was the fuel, the glue, the elixir. We all simply had unconditional love for one another. We were a microcosm of the world, contained in a little room in a hotel, laughing and crying and discovering new aspects of ourselves with the support of the universe embracing us all.
Feeling so much love!! oxo
So, I stepped outside this morning to look at the stars while it was still dark. I really love to start my day this way. As I stood with my head back, appreciating their beauty, I felt “It would be nice to see a shooting star.”
As my eyes moved to the other side of the visible sky, a star shot across it. That is the power of love, appreciation and intention with no resistance.
This is something I’m currently processing, feeling through to allow for whatever message that may be there to come forth.
I love taking a step outside early in the morning, while it’s still dark and silent. I can see the stars in the sky, and Orion is always to my right. It brings me comfort to stare at it and feel the energy of my body in response to it. I do have a visceral response, which is a reflection of our deep interconnectedness with all there is, seen and unseen.
As my eyes were moving slowly across the sky toward where the sun is to rise shortly, I watched as a plane climbed silently through some light clouds and flew high above. My gaze fell back toward the clouds, when I noticed they were not stagnant. The sky was undulating like a wave. It reminded me of the space I was in during my NDE where the dense particles came together in waves at times…
I looked back at the several shining lights above me. These lights are very often there at night and do not move with the rest of the stars. They are some sort of craft, I ‘m not sure what. Maybe weather monitors…one of them moved closer to me, strangely as if to say “yes, you did see that.” Lol. It’s made my whole day even better.
“As I began to love myself I found that anguish and emotional suffering are only warning signs that I was living against my own truth. Today, I know, this is “AUTHENTICITY”.
As I began to love myself I understood how much it can offend somebody if I try to force my desires on this person, even though I knew the time was not right and the person was not ready for it, and even though this person was me. Today I call it “RESPECT”.
As I began to love myself I stopped craving for a different life, and I could see that everything that surrounded me was inviting me to grow. Today I call it “MATURITY”.
As I began to love myself I understood that at any circumstance, I am in the right place at the right time, and everything happens at the exactly right moment. So I could be calm. Today I call it “SELF-CONFIDENCE”.
As I began to love myself I quit stealing my own time, and I stopped designing huge projects for the future. Today, I only do what brings me joy and happiness, things I love to do and that make my heart cheer, and I do them in my own way and in my own rhythm. Today I call it “SIMPLICITY”.
As I began to love myself I freed myself of anything that is no good for my health – food, people, things, situations, and everything that drew me down and away from myself. At first I called this attitude a healthy egoism. Today I know it is “LOVE OF ONESELF”.
As I began to love myself I quit trying to always be right, and ever since I was wrong less of the time. Today I discovered that is “MODESTY”.
As I began to love myself I refused to go on living in the past and worrying about the future. Now, I only live for the moment, where everything is happening. Today I live each day, day by day, and I call it “FULFILLMENT”.
As I began to love myself I recognized that my mind can disturb me and it can make me sick. But as I connected it to my heart, my mind became a valuable ally. Today I call this connection “WISDOM OF THE HEART”.
We no longer need to fear arguments, confrontations or any kind of problems with ourselves or others. Even stars collide, and out of their crashing new worlds are born. Today I know “THAT IS LIFE”!”

I love to take pictures of the sunrise when I can and share them. I’ve got a bunch but this one stood out to me this morning. Looking at the vastness of the sky, the clouds and the emerging sun gave me the sense that anything is possible. Anything.
What restricts me is my thinking. I imagine large and my mind shrinks it down. I imagine depth and my mind tries to make it more shallow. Ego can lock us in and make us small if we aren’t aware. Ego is fear. Fear is love’s reflection and both are equally beautiful.
This image of Nature, of the birthing of potential, happens without thought. Thought does not guide the sun from horizon to horizon, rather it travels through the day effortlessly, being what it is.
What if the path of its life-giving light were thwarted by questioning that path, of second-guessing whether it was the right one or maybe it should take another route to the West. I would venture to guess the other natural processes of the Earth would also be thwarted.
When we choose to ignore our heart-brain, that intuitive energetic nudge to go this way or that, we ignore Nature. The mind is not the center of us, it is a secondary organ. The heart is the first receiver of information and knows what to do with it. The rest of the body assists. When our first impulse is ignored, often it was the one we later say we “should” have gone with. Those moments of recognition are lessons learned so the next time we have an impulse, we can go with it.
There is no right or wrong here, as every choice is perfect and leads to the next and the next. What helps steer us is opening up and creating the energetic space of allowing for Love of self (first) and others to be the guiding force in our decisions.
Much Love! xox
As we go along in our lives, there are points where our consciousness shifts, where it transitions from one state of being to another. We feel different. We see and experience the world in a different way, we grow and expand in our awareness of our place in it. These shifts are the physical evidence of our becoming who we are. Sometimes we don’t know it’s happening and just find ourselves “there” in a new state of being. Maybe we like it, maybe we don’t. Regardless, it’s why we’re here and we always have the choice to go with it or against it. For me, it feels much better to float downstream and take in the view. xoxo
Here’s a glimpse of where I was within my soul of souls many years ago and where I traveled to after the integration of my NDE into my life…..
I’m done with the shoulds and should nots.
I’m done with criticism of myself and others.
I’m done with old beliefs and habits that do nothing for me but bring me down.
I’m done with people who have nothing to offer and everything to take.
I’m done with seeing the world around me as something to be disliked.
I’m done with the struggle to be happy.
I’m done with feeling unloved.

I’m ready for conscious creation and enjoying the fruit of it.
I’m ready to create new patterns of thought through love and appreciation.
I’m ready for allowing life to unfold as I direct it with loving intention.
I’m ready to extend love to all and expect the very
best in return.
I’m ready to see my world as a playground for the manifestation of all I desire.
I’m ready to be happy.
I’m ready to be Love.
Much Love xox
Most of us have heard about or know about the Law Of Attraction. It was something that came into my awareness many years after my NDE and was truly key in my moving forward in my life. It, along with finding meditation and then creating the Twelve Principles For Daily Living, which I practiced without abandon as I felt the quality of my and my families’ life depended on it. I literally felt like if I didn’t make some deep, drastic, life-long changes in me, all would be lost.
That may sound dramatic but it’s true. I had always been an energetically sensitive person and longed for deeply meaningful relationships and experiences in life. When I didn’t get the kind of love I needed from my parents (I wished for the same love from my parents that I wanted for myself) I decided to put up a barrier of ego and used it to get along, all the while still yearning for a deep connection i.e. more love in my life.
When I came around to integrating the experience I had in the afterlife into my earthly life, I was able to make the deeply profound connections I hadn’t seen before. My NDE was the Law Of Attraction in action. I was practicing the LOA with the Universe during my NDE, before I knew it existed. It still astounds me to this day. The Law Of Attraction is indeed law. It is law, like our experience of gravity. It is everywhere, all the time. It is the stuff of us and the Universe. It’s magical and magnificent and intuitive and natural. It is awe-some!
The Twelve Principles For Daily Living go hand in hand with LOA, like during my NDE. The Twelve Principles help to re-create the feeling of it and LOA guides one in practicing them.
I am still in the process of creating a site where people can go to view what they are and perhaps, if inspired to do so, incorporate them into their lives. I wrote my little book about them that’s available for download on Amazon called I Died And Learned How To Live. It’s one avenue in which to share the message and hopefully help others. That’s why we’re here.
More to follow!
Much LOVE to you!
The Law Of Attraction and the idea of manifestation of what we desire is such a multidimensional topic. It cannot be fully addressed in one blog post, so I’ll take it in chunks….
In my NDE, I learned we are all manifesting all the time and for each desire the Universe (which is pure, detached, unconditional Love) responds in kind. We make it difficult or simple, depending on how strongly we are in alignment with what it is we desire. Now, keeping in mind that we are all the physical manifestation of Love energy but most aren’t fully in touch with that (which is the reason for the Twelve Principles For Daily Living), fundamentally we are all creating from that point of attraction. All is Love, so whatever manifests is that same Love.
That may sound like it doesn’t make sense. What about “bad” things? What about things we don’t like? What about really horrible things?
While my answer may be difficult to understand right this minute, you will in time. We all do. There is no “bad”. Ever. The same way no one is actually “judged” when they get to “heaven”, there is nothing here on earth that is not Love in the eyes of the Universe. There is no judgement. All things happen for a higher purpose. That is not to say we should all do whatever we want because ultimately it’s all ok. No, that is not why we’re here. We’re here to consciously re-member who we are and we create/co-create with the Universe a life that brings us back to that. Along the way, we experience the contrast of suffering so we may know Love. We couldn’t have one without the other and we couldn’t have the experience of the strength of one or the other without the varying degrees of each. That is where Compassion comes in, the recognition of our oneness through the identification with suffering. Some are more compassionate than others, which means some are more connected with who they really are than others. No right or wrong, it just is.
More later…Love to you all!
